Interviewing Nell Curran: Public Health Educator and Wellness Lead

We had the chance to sit down with Nell Curran, a public health advocate whose journey spans from Boston to Stanford, and is now shaping wellness programs in our local schools. She has designed a public health curriculum for high school students, combining her passion for health with a focus on equity and social justice.

She emphasizes the importance of understanding the structural factors of health—such as access, education, and policy—to drive change. She envisions a future where public health is trusted, adequately funded, and inclusive, giving every young person the opportunity to learn about and advocate for equity.
