BRIDGE For All Program
Located at the Mitchell Park Community Center, 3700 Middlefield Rd
June 15 - July 27
Every Sunday, 4-5pm
BRIDGE for All is an exciting, hands-on summer program designed by high school students for curious and motivated elementary and middle schoolers who want to explore the world of medicine and healthcare—all while having fun!
Through interactive games, hands-on experiments, team challenges, and creative projects, students will not only learn about healthcare, but also about the real-world inequalities that affect who gets access to it.
Along the way, students will:
Gain a basic foundation in healthcare and medicine
Build critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership skills
Hear from inspiring guest speakers in the medical field
Explore how factors such as income, geography, and race impact health outcomes
Learn about future career paths in healthcare
Participate in community service and volunteer opportunities, such as local drives and events
Earn prizes for teamwork, creativity, and engagement
By the end of the entire curriculum, students will not only produce an end project (a research paper, poster, etc.) but they will have learned in depth about the importance of health equity and how it directly impacts individuals and communities. They will understand the root causes of health disparities and will gain a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity and its role in healthcare.
Whether your child is already dreaming of becoming a doctor or just wants to explore something new, BRIDGE for All is a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and make a difference—all in a welcoming, student-led environment. Our mission is to empower the next generation of healthcare leaders. We hope you can join us!
