BRIDGE For All Program
This class is designed so that each topic builds on the previous, so students will have to show up for the 7 classes.
BRIDGE for All is a fun, workshop-style summer program led by high school students, designed for elementary and middle school students who are curious about medicine and healthcare. Through hands-on activities, interactive games, team challenges, and creative projects, participants will explore the exciting world of healthcare and the real-life inequalities that impact access to it.
Along the way, students will learn about the foundation of healthcare, hear from guest speakers in the medical field, and learn how factors like income, location, and race can shape health outcomes. They'll also be introduced to future career paths in healthcare and gain meaningful experience through volunteer opportunities such as community drives and events. Most importantly, they'll discover how they can make a difference in their own communities. And of course, there will be prizes for participation, teamwork, and creativity!
Our mission is to spark curiosity and a love for healthcare in younger students by creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Through BRIDGE for All, we aim to share knowledge, connect with our community, and inspire the next generation of doctors and advocates.
